About Vette Gear Plus

Thanks to my Dad, I have enjoyed cars ever since I can remember. I have also had the privilege of owning two Corvettes, the second being my favorite, a 1990 ZR-1. After becoming involved in the Corvette community and learning about its proud heritage, my love for the car grew even more. I eventually sold the ZR-1 to my Dad, who still owns the car today, so I could give one of the newer Corvettes a try. 

The idea for Vette Gear Plus was born in December of 2007. I was faced with the common dilemma of what to get my Dad for Christmas so I utilized my graphic design skills to make him a Corvette related gift. I took a picture of a ZR-1, printed it directly to aluminum and then had it custom cut. The process was rather extensive, but the end result was well worth it. When I saw my Dad’s reaction as he unwrapped the one of a kind metal sign, I knew that other Corvette enthusiasts would also appreciate this. 

After receiving a lot of positive feedback from friends and family who viewed the original concepts and products, my good friend Ben Zaccagnino encouraged and helped take Vette Gear Plus to the next level. Combining my Corvette knowledge and design expertise with Ben’s extensive experience in laser routing and production, we are now able to offer the most unique gifts and souvenirs on the Corvette market.
